IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2736 <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, by Public Law 655, 8&th Congress (70 Stat. 293), the Federal <br />government has authorized the donation of surplus Federal property for <br />civil defense purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, certain condl.tions are imposed by the Federal Civil Defense <br />administration, the Department of Health, Education and Welfare, the <br />California Disaster Office, and the Surplus Property Division of the State <br />Department of Education in connection with the acquisition of such property; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton desires to become eligible to acquire <br />such property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED by the City Council of said City that <br />DONALD L. CHRISTEN, City Administrator, shall be and is hereby authorized <br />as the representative of said City to sign for and accept surplus Federal <br />property in accordance with the conditions imposed by the above agencies; <br />and <br /> <br /> IT IS FURTHE~RESOLVED that this resolution of authorization shall <br />remain in full force and effect until amended, superseded, or rescinded by <br />resolution of this Council transmitted, in duplica~ to the Californi~ <br />Disaster Office. ~ _ /~ // <br /> Signature of person authorized to sign~.'~' ~/ ~%// '~ <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of March, 1958, by the.
