IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF ~&, STATE AOF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2732 <br /> <br />Approving Legislation Amend~ the San Francisco Bay Area <br />Rapid Tramsit District Act to Allow City and County Legislative <br /> Officers to Serve on the District Board of Directors. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is interested aud concerned in the <br />operations of the Bay Area Rapid Transit District; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFOBE THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE ms follows: <br />l) The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby approve, <br />support and urge the early adoption of legislation proposed by the Bay Area <br />Cities to provide the mayors, councilmen aud members of boards of supervisors <br />may be appointed to the Transit District's Board of Directors and at the <br />same time retain their City and County offices. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Council specifically urges passage of legislation proposed <br />by Senator Arthur H.
