IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #2726 <br /> <br />Proposed Use of Parks Air Force Base <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Alameda County, California have <br />expressed an interest in obtaining land now used by Parks Air Force Base for <br />the purpose of enlarging the Alameda County Santa Rita Rehabilitation Center; <br />and~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the planning consultants of the City of Pleasanton, the <br />Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce and au informal committee to study the possible <br />use of Parks Air Force Base property when and if it is vacated by the Federal <br />government advised against further expansion of governmental uses, with the <br />exception of a possible state college; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council of the City of Pleasanton asks that full considera- <br />tion be given to local planning recommendations and zoning ordinances in <br />making arrangements for disposition of federally-owned lands now known as <br /> <br />Parks Air Force Base, <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS /f day of March, 1958. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor of the City of Pleasanton <br /> <br />City Clerk o~the City of' ~leasanton <br /> <br /> <br />
