CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 981 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF FARMERS INSURANCE GROUP FOR A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL FOR A FOUR-STORY, 150,000 SQ. FT. OFFICE BUILDING ON A 13.8 ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF DUBLIN CANYON ROAD APPROXIMATELY 800 FEET I~EST OF ITS INTERSECTION WITH FOOTHILL ROAD WHEREAS, Farmers Insurance Group applied for planned unit develop- ment plan approval for construction of a four-story, 150,000 sq. ft. office building on a 13.8 acre site located on the south side of Dublin Canyon Road approxi- mately 800 feet west of its intersection with Foothill Road; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a mitigated negative declaration was adopted by Council on June 23, 1981; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval of the development plan; and ~EREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 23, 1981; and WHEREAS, City Council finds that this planned unit develoDment is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the planned unit development plan (PUD-81-2) for construction of a four-story, 150,000 sq. ft. office building on a 13.8 acre site located on the south side of Dublin Canyon Road approximately 800 feet west of its intersection with Foothill Road, subject to the conditions on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. Section 2: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton.
