That the County Boundary Commission of Alameda County, <br />California, did on September 17, 1959, by Recommendation No. 59S <br />approve the above described and proposed boundaries of said terri- <br />tory, as set forth above. <br /> <br /> 5. That ~~'~ ~ 3., 1959, at the hour of <br />S:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City Mall, 603 Main <br />Street, Pleasanton, California, is hereby fixed as the time and <br />)lace when and where any person oWning real property within the <br />minhabited territory above described and proposed to be annexed <br />to the City of Pleasanton, and having any objections thereto, may <br />appear before the Council and show cause why such annexation should <br />not take place. Such protest must be filed in writing, and may be <br />tiled at any time before the hour set for hearing objections to the <br />proposed annexation, and shall state the name or names of the owner <br />or owners of property affected, and the description and area of <br />such property, in general terms. <br /> <br /> 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause <br />copy of this resolution to be p~blished at least twice, but not <br />ftener than once a week, in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of <br />eneral circulation published within the City, and also in the <br />ivermore Herald, a newspaper of genersl circulation published out- <br />side the City but within the County of Alameda, California, the <br />oounty in which said territory is located, both of said publica- <br />~ions to be completed at least twenty (20) days prior to the date <br />set for the hearing. <br /> <br /> 7. The City Clerk is further authorized and directed to <br />cause written notice of such proposea annexation to be mailed to <br />~ach person to whom land within the territory is assessed in the <br /> <br />- 3- <br /> <br /> <br />
