CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 974 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF <br /> APPROVAL EXTENSIONS UNDER CHAPTER 2 (ZONING), <br /> TITLE II (ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT) OF THE ORDINANCE <br /> CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AMENDING SECTIONS <br /> 2-10.05, 2-10.09 AND 2-10.13 OF ARTICLE 19 (DESIGN <br /> REVIEW), SECTION 2-11.11 OF ARTICLE 25 (CONDITIONAL <br /> USES), AND SECTION 2-11.32 OF ARTICLE 26 (VARIANCES) <br /> AND ADDING SECTION 2-12.24 TO ARTICLE 30 (ADMINISTRATION <br /> AND ENFORCEMENT) OF SAID CHAPTER <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 2-10.05, Article 19 (Design Review), Chapter <br /> 2 (Zoning), Title II (_Zoning and Development) of the <br /> Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended <br /> to read as follows: <br /> <br />§2-10.05 Board of Design ReView: Membership and Meetings. The <br /> Board of Design Review shall be composed of at least <br /> three members of the Planning Commission appointed by <br /> the chairman of the Commission. If the Board does not <br /> include the full'Commission, its members shall be appointed <br /> for one-year terms and shall serve until their successors <br /> are appointed. If the Board does not include the full <br /> Commission, the Board shall elect a chairman to serve a <br /> one-year term. The Board shall hold one regular meeting <br /> each month, provided that a meeting need not be held <br /> if no drawings in conformity with the requirements of <br /> the article have been submitted for review. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Section 2-10.09 of said Article is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> §2-10.09 Action of Board of Design Review. Within 30 days of the <br /> date the drawings were submitted, the Board of Design <br /> Review shall approve, conditionally approve, or disapprove <br /> the drawings, or shall request the applicant to revise <br /> them. Failure of the Board to act within 30 days shall <br /> be deemed approval of the drawings unless the applicant <br /> shall consent to an extension of time. <br /> <br /> Section 3: Section 2-10.13 of said Article is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> §2-10.13 Lapse of Design Review Approval. Design approval shall <br /> lapse and shall be void one year following the date upon <br /> which the drawings were approved, unless prior to the <br /> expiration of one year a building permit is issued <br /> <br /> <br />
