The City participated in a Memorandum of <br /> Understanding in 2009 for the successful allocation of NSP2 (second round) funds which <br /> are being administered by Alameda County. <br /> FY 2012 Amount: (no direct allocation to Pleasanton is anticipated) <br /> Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) <br /> These funds, which are awarded annually on an entitlement and competitive basis, can be <br /> used for a variety of housing and service activities for persons with AIDS. The City does <br /> not anticipate applying directly for HOPWA funds for FY 2012. <br /> FY 2012 Amount: (no direct allocation to Pleasanton is anticipated) <br /> HUD 202/HUD 811 Program Funds <br /> These program funds are awarded on a competitive basis specifically for the development <br /> of affordable for seniors (202) or for the disabled (811). The City is currently working on <br /> the potential redevelopment of two adjacent, aging senior complexes on Kottinger Drive, <br /> with the possibility of redeveloping the two sites in a larger new complex for seniors. If <br /> this project progresses, the City will likely support an application for 202 funding. <br /> FY 2012 Amount: (TBA) <br /> HUD Section 8 Rental Assistance Program <br /> The Housing Authority of Alameda County (HACA) will continue to administer Federal <br /> Section 8 housing choice vouchers to eligible Pleasanton residents. <br /> FY 2012 Amount: $1,500,000 (estimate based on current number of voucher holders) <br /> Lead Abatement <br /> Alameda County has received grants from HUD and the Centers for Disease Control <br /> (CDC) to further lead abatement efforts. <br /> FY 2012 Amount: (no direct allocation to Pleasanton is anticipated) <br /> Low-Income Housing Preservation Program (LIHPP) <br /> LIHPP funds are awarded on a competitive basis to preserve federally subsidized <br /> affordable rental housing developments. <br /> FY 2012 Amount: (no direct allocation to Pleasanton is anticipated) <br /> Adlon Plan—FY 2012 <br /> City d Pleesentan <br /> Page 4 <br />
