RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO INCLUDE BUSINESS <br /> LICENSE FEES, INCLUDING FOR REPORTS AND ADMINISTRATIVE <br /> LICENSE CHANGES, AS WELL AS CITY CONNECTION FEES FOR HIGHER <br /> FLOW OMNI C-2 METERS AND ELIMINATING FEES FOR METERS NO <br /> LONGER OFFERED <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the omnibus ordinance updating the Pleasanton Municipal <br /> Code, this includes updating the Master Fee Schedule; and <br /> WHEREAS, Municipal Code Title 5 Business Licensing and Taxation provides <br /> that fees are to be listed in the Master Fee Schedule, and this resolution will place such <br /> fees, including fees available for reports allowed per Section 5.08.050 (information <br /> confidential), and charges for administrative license modifications, into the Master Fee <br /> Schedule; and <br /> WHEREAS, water connection fees are being amended to reflect the water flow of <br /> Omni C2 meters of 2" diameter, which flow water at twice the rate of standard <br /> displacement meters, hence the necessary change in the City's connection fees; and <br /> WHEREAS, this change in type of meter is due to changes by the manufacturer <br /> to address new low lead regulatory requirements; and <br /> WHEREAS, connection fees are set by Zone 7 based on flow ratings from the <br /> American Water Works Association (AWWA); and <br /> WHEREAS, another change by Zone 7 and its manufacturers was the <br /> elimination of the availability of the 1.5 inch turbo meter option, thus the elimination of <br /> that connection fee. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER <br /> THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Amend the Master Fee Schedule as shown in the attached Exhibit <br /> A. <br /> SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it <br /> into the book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on <br />
