1 <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 581 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED <br /> TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO . 61 <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS : <br /> I . <br /> The City Council does hereby make the following findings : <br /> (a) On October 6, 1969, the City Council did pass and adopt <br /> Resolution No . 69-238 , giving notice of the intention to annex cer- <br /> tain uninhabited territory to the City of Pleasanton. Said terri- <br /> tory was designated as Annex No . 61 and did describe the boundaries <br /> of the territories proposed to be annexed. <br /> (b) Said Resolution No . 69-238 contained notice of the time <br /> and place for the Council of the City of Pleasanton to hear protests <br /> made by any person owning real property within the territory pro- <br /> posed to be annexed. Said time of hearing was not more than <br /> thirty days from the date of passage of the Resolution. <br /> (c) On October 20, 1969 , at the hour of 8 : 00 P .M. , in the <br /> Council chambers, at the Justice Court , 30 W. Angela Street , in the <br /> City of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, the <br /> said City Council held a public hearing. <br /> By Resolution No . 69-248, the City Council determined that <br /> protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value <br /> of the privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by <br /> the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one- <br /> 11 half of the value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be <br /> annexed as determined by said legislative body . <br /> II. <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br />
