CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 970 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 43 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED <br /> ON THE EAST SIDE OF FOOTHILL ROAD APPROXIMATELY <br /> 830 FEET SOUTH OF THE CITY LIMIT LINE TO PUD-LOW <br /> DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton initiated a prezoning of an <br /> -. approximately 43 acre parcel located on the east <br /> side of'Foothill Road approximately 830 feet south <br /> of the existing city limit line (Annexation No. 80) <br /> to PUD-Low Density Residential; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating <br /> no significant adverse effects on the environment, <br /> a negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> March 24, 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommenda- <br /> tion for approval of the prezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 24, <br /> 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is consistent <br /> with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 43 acre <br /> parcel of land located on the east side of Foothill <br /> Road approximately 830 feet south of the city limit <br /> line, which land is involved in Annexation No. 80, to <br /> PUD-Low Density Residential. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map ~221, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit A dated March 24, 1981, and incorporated herein <br /> by reference. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> <br />
