rHe CITY of 13 <br /> °- "' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON. <br /> April 17, 2012 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: ADOPT A RESOLUTION TO COMPLETE A LAND EXCHANGE WITH THE <br /> DUBLIN SAN RAMON SERVICES DISTRICT (DSRSD) FOR SURPLUS <br /> PROPERTY LOCATED ON JOHNSON COURT AT STONERIDGE DRIVE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Pleasanton and the Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) each own a separate <br /> small parcel on land on Johnson Court near Stoneridge Drive adjacent to the DSRSD <br /> regional sewer plant and the City Val Vista Community Park. The City's parcel is <br /> approximately 5,280 square feet and the DSRSD site is approximately 5,525 square feet. <br /> The exchange will result in the City obtaining the parcel at the corner of Stoneridge and <br /> Johnson Court which will be used to facilitate the construction of the new East Amador <br /> Relief Sewer Pump Station (EARS). Transferring the City owned parcel to DSRSD will <br /> allow it obtain property immediately adjacent to the front gate of its regional plant. The <br /> parcels have limited market value for other uses. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Adopt the attached resolution authorizing the City Manager to sign a grant deed and <br /> related property transfer documents to complete the land exchange. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There are no costs associated with the land value. However, both agencies have agreed <br /> to split the surveyor's fee of $2,936 to prepare documentation required for the exchange. <br /> As a result, the City's costs are $1,468. <br />
