ATTACHMENT I <br /> THIRD AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> This Third Amendment to the "Agreement for Maintenance of State Highways" ("Third Amendment") is <br /> entered into this 17th day of April, 2012, by the City of Pleasanton ("CITY") and the California <br /> Department of Transportation ("STATE") <br /> Whereas, as Agreement for maintenance of State Highways, as provided for in Section 130 of <br /> the Streets and Highways Code, was executed by the CITY on February 6, 1990, and by the STATE on <br /> February 27, 1990; and <br /> Whereas, the agreement authorizes the CITY to operate and maintain Caltrans owned traffic <br /> signals within the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> Whereas, this agreement has been amended previously to include additional traffic signals; and <br /> Whereas, traffic signals have been constructed at the I-680/Bernal Avenue interchange; and <br /> Whereas, the parties desire to amend the Agreement to include the I-680/Bernal Avenue traffic <br /> signals; <br /> Now, therefore, the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Agreement shall be amended in accordance with the attached page number 6a dated April 17, <br /> 2012. This page shall be substituted for like numbered pages in said Agreement, and shall <br /> cancel and supersede previously like numbered pages, becoming a part of said Agreement for <br /> all purposes. <br /> 2.
