Sustainable Transportation and Land Use Linkages (4%) and Technology (1%) <br /> Investments in sustainable transportation and land use linkages recognize the need to <br /> plan the County's transportation system along with the land uses that are going to serve <br /> the growing demand for housing and jobs in Alameda County. <br /> The TEP includes investments in every part of the county, enhancing areas around <br /> BART stations and bus transfer hubs that are slated for new development, and <br /> supporting communities where biking, walking and transit riding are all desirable <br /> options. A total of 4% of net revenue or about $300 M is dedicated to improvements that <br /> link our transportation infrastructure with areas identified for new development. <br /> The TEP provides funding for technology, innovation and development at one percent <br /> (1%) of net revenue, or about $77 M, dedicated to investments that can support <br /> technological advances in transportation management and information. The following is <br /> the proposed funding details for this program: <br /> Sustainable Land Use & Transportation (4%) and Technology (1%) - $377 <br /> million <br /> Priority Development Area (PDA) / Transit- <br /> Oriented Development (TOD) Infrastructure $300 M <br /> Investments (4%) <br /> Technology, Innovation, and Development $77 M <br /> (1%) <br />
