IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2857 <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, <br /> <br /> 1. The City of Pleasanton strongly feels the hardships and <br />difficulties in constructing and maintaining its major thoroughfares <br />affecting the surrounding area. <br /> <br /> 2. ~Eae City of Pleasanton favors legislation making Federal, <br />State or County aid available to cities of populations less than <br />5,000 persons. <br /> <br /> 3. The City of Pleasanton anticipates a population in excess of <br />5,000 within a reasonable period, and has streets which would qualify <br /> <br />as extensions of federal aid secondary or federal aid primary roads. <br /> 4. Assembly Bill 72 provides such legislation. <br /> <br /> 5. The City Council of the City of Pleasanton hereby respect- <br />fully urges all Assemblymen, Senators and government officials to <br />work for adoption of such legislation. <br /> <br /> 6.
