CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 968 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF JACK AND JAMES LAVEY TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 10,000 SQ. FT. SITE LOCATED AT 4183 FIRST STREET FROM C-S (COMMERCIAL SERVICE) DISTRICT TO C-C (CENTRAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT WHEREAS, Jack and James Lavey applied to have an approximately 10,000 sq. ft. site located at 4183 First Street rezoned from C-S (Commercial Service) Dist'rict to C-C (Central Commercial) District; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on March 10, 1981; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval of the rezoning; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 10, 1981; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is in compliance with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES t~REBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 10,000 sq. ft. site located at 4183 First Street from C-S (Commercial Service) District to C-C (Central Co~m~ercial) District. Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map ~219, attached hereto as Exhibit A dated March 10, 1981, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "THE VALLEY TIMES," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton. Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption.
