CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 967 ORDINANCE REZONING A ONE ACRE SITE LOCATED NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF SANTA RITA ROAD AND WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD FROM RM-25 (MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT TO THE PUD (PLANNED UNIT' DEVELOPMENT-HIGH DENSITY RESI- DENTIAL) DISTRICT AND APPROVAL OF 16-UNIT TOWNHOUSE DEVELOPMENT PLAN WHEREAS, Michael Harris applied for rezoning of the one acre site located near the intersection of Santa Rita Road and West L~s Positas Boulevard from RM-25 (Multi-Family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development- High Density Residential) District and for approval of the development plan for the property as a townhouse project; and WHEREAS, the Design Review Board had formerly reviewed and approved the project in exactly the same format as a condominium project; and WHEREAS, an Initial Study was done and a public hearing was held concerning the potential environmental impacts of the project, and finding no significant impacts, a Negative Declaration was adopted; and WHEREAS, the public hearing was held on the proposed rezoning and development plan approval at which time the public was afforded the opportunity to comment on the proposal. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the rezoning of an approximately one acre site located near the intersection of Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas Boulevard from RM-25 (Multi-Family Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development- High Density Residential) District and approves the 16-unit townhouse residential development plan for the subject property. Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts, is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map No. 218, attached hereto as Exhibit A dated March 10, 1981, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (.15) days after its adoption in "THE VALLEY TIMES" a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton.
