CORRECTED VERSION <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />( ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 966 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE REZONING APPROXImaTELY 10 ACRE SITE <br /> LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF VINEYARD AVENUE <br /> APPROXIMATELY 120 FEET ~ST OF PICO AVENUE FROM <br /> R-1-6500 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT <br /> TO THE PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT)-MEDIUM <br /> DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Dorothy N. Johnson applied to the Planning Commission <br /> to have an approximately 10 acre site locate on the <br /> south side of Vineyard Avenue approximately 120 feet <br /> west of Pico Avenue rezoned to PUD; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study and <br /> after a public hearing on February 10, 1981, the <br /> Planning Commission recommends aDp~oval of the <br /> rezoning of the above-described Dropertyo <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately t0 acre <br /> site located on the south side of Vineyard Avenue ~ <br /> approximately 120 feet west of Pico Avenue from <br /> R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) District to the <br /> PUD (Planned Unit DeveloDment)-Medium Density Residential <br /> District, subject to conditions established in Planning <br /> Commission Resolution No. 1934, and adding the following <br /> conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. that the emergency access way shall be between <br /> Lots 14 and 15 and shall be a minimum of 12 feet <br /> in width, but perhaps as wide as 15 feet, the <br /> final width shall be determined by the Fire Chief; <br /> <br /> 2. that the front yard setbacks for all houses on <br /> Rowell Lane shall be a minimum of 23 feet, and <br /> exterior side setbacks for all houses on that <br /> street be a minimum of 15 feet; and <br /> <br /> 3o that the right-of-way of Rowell Lane shall be a <br /> minimum of 46 feet with minimum curb-to-curb <br /> dimension of 36'feet. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Zoning MaD of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #217, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit A dated February 24, 1981, and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
