CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 964 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE IV, CHAPTER 9 (NOISE <br /> REGULATION), SECTION 4-9.02(b) REGARDING SOUND <br /> LEVEL METER <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Amends Section 4-9.02(b) of Chapter 9 (.Noise <br /> Regulation), Title IV in its entirety as shown below: <br /> <br /> Section 4-9.02(b) Sound Level Meter - an instrument <br /> ~'nciuding a microphone, an amplifier, <br /> an output meter, and frequency weight- <br /> ing networks for the measurement of <br /> sound levels, which meets or exceeds <br /> the requirements pertinent for type- <br /> S2A meters in American National Standards <br /> Institute specifications for sound level <br /> meters, S1.4-1971, or the most recent <br /> revision thereof. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days <br /> following passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be publ..ished o~e~within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "THP~ VALLEY TIMES", a <br /> newspaper of general circulatio~,'-published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. ~.?' <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on February 10, 1981. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on February 24, 1981 by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None .KENNE~.~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />/James R.
