CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 963 <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA <br /> PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That an amendment to the Contract between the City of Pleasanton and <br /> the Board of Administration, California Public Employees' Retirement <br /> System is hereby authorized, a copy of said amendment being attached <br /> hereto, marked "Exhibit A", and by such reference made a part hereof as <br /> though herein set out in full. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Mayor of the City of Pleasanton is hereby authorized, empowered, <br /> and directed to execute said amendment for and on behalf of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after <br /> its adoption in "THE TIMES", a newspaper of general circulation published <br /> in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of <br /> its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on <br /> February 10, 1981. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on <br /> March 10, 1981 , by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: Councilmember Kephart <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> KE ETH R.
