IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA Resolution No. 2758 Amending Resolution No. 27~, Authorizing Mayor and City Clerk to Execute Deed to County of Alameda for Easement in Corpora- tion Yard Property, Santa Rita Road. WHEREAS, the County of Alameda is improving Santa Rita Road, also known as county road~1528 and constructing a new bridge over Arroyo del Valle connecting said Santa Rita Road and Main Street, Pleasanton; and WHEREAS~ an easement, described below, over property owned by the City of Pleasanton and used as a corporation yard is required for said construction by the County of Alameda~ and WHEREAS, said construction will greatly benefit the City of Pleasanton~ NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the City Council does hereby authorize BERNARD T. GERTON, Mayor and MARGARET L. CONNER, City Cterk~ to execute in behalf of the City of Pleasanton, a municipal corporation, an instrument, attached to a certified copy of this resolution, conveying to the County of Alameda, a municipal corporation, an easement and right of way for highway purposes, across the below described City property, generally located at the City corporation yard and Santa ~ita Road. Said property is further described as: All that certain real property situated partly in the City of Pleasanton, and partly in the Township of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: COMMENCING at the point of intersection of the general southerly line of Plot l, as said plot is described in the Decree of Partition of the Bernal portion of the Rancho el Valle de San Jose, recorded April 12, 1869 in Book 40 of Deeds at page 315 thereof, Records of Alameda County, Califor- nia, with the center line of County Road No. 1528, as the same now is monu- mented, c~mmonly known as Santa Rita Road, 66 feet in width, and running thence along said center line North 18° ll' East (the bearing of said center line of Santa Rita Road being taken as North 18° ll' East for the purpose of making this description), 92.19 feet to a point thereon; thence leaving said center line of Santa Rita Road South 71° 49' East, 33.00 feet to an inter- section thereof with the southeasterly line of said Santa Rita Road~ thence along said southeasterly line of Santa Rita Road North 18° 11' East, 44.94 feet to an angle point therein~ thence leaving said southeasterly line of Santa Rita Road South 8° 15' West, 45.62 feet~ thence South 71° 49' East, 98.13 feet~ thence South 18© ll' West, 79.04 feet to an intersection thereof with the aforsaid general southerly line of Plot l~ thence along said general southerly line North 82° 25' West, 83.03 feet to an angle point therein~ thence continuing along said general southerly line of Plot i North 69© 41' 30" West, 57.43 feet to the point of commencement.
