IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2744 <br /> <br />Authorizing Mayor and City Clerk to <br />Execute Deed to County of Alameda for <br />Easement in Corporation Yard Property, <br />Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Alameda is improving Santa Rita Road, also known <br />as county road ~1528 and constructing a new bridge over Arroyo del Valle <br /> <br />connecting said Santa Rita Road and Main Street, Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an easement, described below, over property owned by the City <br /> <br />of Pleasanton and used as a corporation yard is required for said construction <br /> <br />by the County of Alameda; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said construction will greatly benefit the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City Council does hereby authorize RENO CAIRO, Mayor and <br />MARGARET L. CONNER, City Clerk, to execute in behalf of the City of Pleasanton <br />a municipal corporation, an instrument, attached to a certified copy of this <br /> <br />resolution, conveying to the County of Alameda, a municipal corporation, an <br /> <br />easement and right of way for highway purposes~ across the below described <br /> <br />city property, generally located at the City corporation yard and Santa Rita <br /> <br />Road. <br /> <br />Said property is further described as: <br /> <br /> All that certain real property situated partly in the City of <br />Pleasanton~ and partly in the Township of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, <br />of California, described as follows: <br /> <br />State <br /> <br /> CO~94ENCING at the point of intersection of the general southerly line <br />of Plot l, as said plot is described in the Decree of Partition of the Bernal <br />Portion of the Rancho el Valle de San Jose, recorded April 16, 1865 in <br />Book '~" of Patents at page 158 thereof, Records of Alameda County~ California <br />with the center line of County Road No. 1528, as the same now is monumented, <br />commonly known as Santa Rita Road, 66 feet in width, and running thence along <br />said center line North 18° ll' East (the bearing of said center line of Santa <br />Rita Road being taken as North 18° ll' East for the purpose of making this <br />description), 92.19 feet to a point thereon~ thence leaving said center line <br />of Santa Rita Road South 7lo 49' East, 33.00 feet to an intersection thereof <br />with the southeasterly line of said Santa Rita Road~ thence along siid south- <br />easterly line of Santa Rita Road North 18oll' East, 4~.94 feet to an angle <br />point therein; thence leaving said southeasterly line of Santa Rita Road <br />South 8° 15' West, 45.62 feet; thence South 71° 49' East, 98.13 feet; thence <br />South $8° ll' W~st, 79.04 feet to an intersection thereof with the aforesaid <br />general southerly line North 82° 25' West, 83.03 feet to an angle point <br /> <br /> <br />
