An Ordinance Amending Section 1 (Part) of <br /> Ordinance No. 1336 and Section 17.36.160 of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code, as Amended. Concerning the Application Procedures <br /> for Growth Management Approval <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br /> Ordinance No. 1505 be adopted, amending Section 1 (part) of <br /> Ordinance No. 1336 and Section 17. 36. 160 of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code, as amended, concerning the application procedures <br /> for Growth Management approval. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Scribner and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: Councilmember Tarver <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> Item lob <br /> Ordinance No. 1509. An Ordinance Approving the Application of <br /> Shanell Industries of Northern California for Rezoning and <br /> Development Plan Approval, As Filed Under Case PUD-90-18 <br /> Mr. David Staal, Associate Pastor at St. Augustine's Church, <br /> 3999 Bernal Avenue, expressed concern that the activities of <br /> homeowners on their balconies overlooking the Church parking lot <br /> could impact the religious activities that take place in that <br /> parking lot. He requested Council to limit the proposed units on <br /> the five-lot parcel on Angela Street to single-story units. <br /> Mr. Roger Manning, 1300 Happy Valley Road, stated that he was <br /> not opposed to the development of homes adjacent to the Church's <br /> parking lot but agreed that they should be single-story. <br /> Mr. Woody Pereira, representing Shapell Industries of Northern <br /> California, stated that he did not want the project to impact the <br /> Church negatively and that there would be no problem with building <br /> single-story homes on that parcel. <br /> Mr. Butler noted that at a previous Council meeting, <br /> Fr.
