At least one section of the fence had separated
from the post leaving your backyard swimming pool unsecured. City and state codes
require pools to be fenced in such a manner that there are no openings larger than four
inches.
Please immediately repair your fence so it complies with the swimming pool barrier
regulations. Failure to maintain an adequate barrier will result in administrative
citations between $100 and $750. It may also result in a criminal misdemeanor
citation.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me at(925) 931-5620 or send me
an email at wwickboldt n,ci.pleasanton.ca.us
Sincerely,
Walter Wickboldt
Senior Code Enforcement Officer
Planning Division
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT P.
