Reviewed 2005 plan and mitigation <br /> strategies; provided input on current strategies pertaining to the Pleasanton Police <br /> Department. <br /> • Joshua Pack, Senior Transportation Engineer. Reviewed 2005 mitigation strategies and <br /> provided input pertaining to traffic and transportation. <br /> • Larissa Seto, City Assistant City Attorney. Reviewed 2005 basic plan and mitigation <br /> plans; provided relative General Plan references for ongoing mitigation strategies. <br /> • George Thomas, Chief Building Official. Reviewed 2005 mitigation strategies and <br /> provided updated codes and ordinances to ongoing activities. <br /> A kick-off meeting, as well as three monthly, and individual one-on-one meetings ensued to <br /> review the proposed Strategy Matrix and receive comments and rankings on the suitability of the <br /> strategies and policies for Livermore. The meetings identified mitigation strategies, prioritized <br /> said strategies, and reviewed preliminary budgets and potential funding sources for strategies <br /> designated as "High" priority for City-owned-and-operated facilities. <br /> Meeting agendas, minutes, and sign-in sheets were prepared to record the planning activities. <br /> The meeting minutes are contained in Exhibit B. <br /> Process for Updating Plan Section <br /> A key element in the above process was to review the 2005 plan. This was done <br /> comprehensively as part of the City's review of the 2010 materials, with material updated as <br /> needed to reflect the minor changes to City policies and programs that had occurred since 2005. <br /> The updates also incorporated new ABAG data on hazards susceptibility and the 2010 planning <br /> process. The City had not experienced any additional occurrences of natural hazards since the <br /> last plan and updated risk assessment with new data provided from ABAG. <br /> 2010 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Annex 5 September 1, 2011 <br /> City of Pleasanton <br />
