THE CITY OF /� <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT L� <br /> pL£ASANTONo <br /> February 21, 2012 <br /> Community Development <br /> Traffic Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: APPROVE ALAMEDA COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION <br /> MASTER PROGRAM FUNDING AGREEMENT <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Alameda County Transportation Commission (CTC) requires an update to the <br /> Master Program Funding Agreement. This new agreement will replace the existing <br /> agreement between the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority <br /> (ACTIA) and the City of Pleasanton that expires in 2012. The new agreement will serve <br /> as the contract for distribution and receipt of current Measure B transportation sales tax <br /> revenues and new Vehicle Registration Fee (VRF) revenues. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the 10-year Alameda CTC Master Program Funding Agreement <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Execution of the Master Program Funding Agreement prior to March 31, 2012, will allow <br /> an uninterrupted flow of transportation funds to the City from Measure B and an <br /> increase in funding as a result of voter approval of the VRF and its associated funding. <br />
