CiTY COUNCIL f}F THE CiTY f}F PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 957 ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF RECENTLY ANNEXED PROPERTY INCLUDED IN ANNEXATION NO. 78 CONSISTING OF APPROXImaTELY 127 ACRES LOCATED EAST OF THE EXTENSION OF VALLEY AVENUE BETWEEN BERNAL AVENUE AND THE ARROYO DEL VALLE TO P (.PUBLIC AND INSTITU- TIONAL) DISTRICT AND A (AGRiCU!jTU~.L) DISTRICT WHEREAS, at their meeting of December 10, 1980, the Planning Commission recommended approval of case RZ-80-12, an application to rezone from the S (Study) District to some other zoning district(s) in conformity with the general plan that portion of Annexation No. 78 easi~ of the extension of Valley Avenue between Bernal Avenue and the Arroyo Del Valle (approxima.te;ly 127 acres); and ', WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental'Study and after a public hearing on December 10, 1980, the Planning Commission recommends apDroval of the zoning of the above-described property~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the zoning of that portion of the subject property which is part of the Alameda County Fairgrounds (109 acres) to P (Public and Institutional) District and the remainder of the subject area be zoned to the A (Agricultural) District. Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map ~215, attached hereto as Exhibit A dated January 27, 1981, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "THE TIMES," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton. Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption.
