CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> 153 <br />RESOLUTION NO., <br /> <br />URGING CONTIhVJATION OF THE BREED <br />FORNffU/.A, RE: CITY HIG~5'¢AY FUNDS <br /> <br /> '~H~FGE.~'~, Section 188 of the Streets and Highways Code pro- <br />vides for distribution of Gtate highway f~ds, and is commonly <br />kno~wn as the "Breed Formula"; and <br /> <br /> VfHEREAS, there has been introduced before the legislature <br />Assembly Bill 1320 providing a change in the Breed Formula to <br />allocate additional funds in the southern portion of the State, <br /> <br />when N~rthern california has more of the highway deficiencies; <br /> NOV; TH!I<~FORE BE IT RE'3OLVED: <br /> <br /> 1. The Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby oppose <br />AB 1320, reducing the present allocation of State Highway Con- <br />struction Funds to Northern California. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Clerk shall send copies of this resolution to <br />all interested agencies and officials. <br />D.
