CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 948 <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION <br /> OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That an amendment to the Contract between the City <br /> of Pleasanton and the Board of Administration, California <br /> Public Employees' Retirement System is hereby authorized, <br /> a copy of said amendment being attached hereto, marked <br /> "Exhibit A", and by such reference made a part hereof <br /> as though herein set out in full. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor of the City of Pleasanton is hereby <br /> authorized, empowered, and directed to execute said <br /> amendment for and on behalf of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "THE TIMES," a newspaper <br /> of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (.30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on October 28, 1980. <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on November 17, 1980 by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None 1 ~R~~.M/Erk ~'ER~ <br /> ABSENT:: None <br /> <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City C e <br /> <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> vine, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
