Actions of the Planning Commission, November 30, 2011 <br /> Commissioners Present: Kathy Narum, Phil Blank, Greg O'Connor, Arne Olson, Jennifer <br /> Pearce, and Jerry Pentin, <br /> Commissioners Absent: None <br /> P11-0709/P11-0717, Dave Cunningham <br /> Applications for Design Review approval to replace the approximately 482-square-foot, <br /> single-story house located at 205 Neal Street with an approximately 1,844 square-foot, <br /> two-story residence and for Variances from the Pleasanton Municipal Code to: (1) reduce <br /> the front yard setback from the required 23 feet to 20 feet to accommodate the new house; <br /> (2) allow one required off-street parking space to be located in the required front yard <br /> setback; and (3) allow tandem parking. Zoning for the property is R-1-6,500 (One-Family <br /> Residential) District. <br /> Action recommended: Approval <br /> Action taken: Approval per staff <br /> Vote: 4-1 (O'Connor recused himself due to a conflict of interest). <br /> P11-0458, Ron Panich <br /> Application for Design Review approval to demolish an existing duplex structure located on <br /> the west side of the property located at 446 Sycamore Road and to construct an <br /> approximately 2,739-square-foot addition to the existing residence and related site <br /> improvements. Zoning for the property is PUD-LDR (Planned Unit Development — Low <br /> Density Residential) District. <br /> (Note: The residence will be used as a congregate living health facility.
