<br />Pleasanton TOD Standards and Design Guidelines_________________ <br /> <br />B7. Parking Location and Treatment <br /> <br />Development Standards: <br />B7.1. Parking shall be located behind buildings, below grade or, where <br />options are not feasible, screened by low walls and landscaping. <br />B7.2. When fronting on public streets, internal streets, public walks/paseos or <br />common open spaces, structured parking shall be wrapped or front <br />habitable uses. <br />B7.3. Parking that is semi-depressed shall be screened with architectural elements <br />that enhance the streetscape such as stoops, balcony overhangs, or <br />decorative screening. <br /> <br />Design Guidelines <br />B7.a. For buildings with parking accessed from the front, minimize the <br />frontage used for parking access. No more than 25% of the site <br />facing a street, internal street, or pedestrian walk/paseo should be devoted <br />to garage opening, carports, or open/surface parking. <br />B7.b.
