CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1034 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF PONDEROSA HOMZS AND PLEASANTON DEVELOPER GROUP TO REZONE APPROXI~IATELY 9.8 ACRES LOCATED AT VALLEY AVENUE AND PASEO SANTA CRUZ FROM THE RM-15 (K~ULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT TO THE R-1-6500 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes and Pleasanton Developer Group applied to have an approximately 9.8 acre site located at the northwest corner of Paseo Santa Cruz and Valley Avenue rezoned from the RM-15 (Multi-family Residential) District to the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District; and WIlEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment a negative declaration was adopted by Council on March 23, 1982; and WtlEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommenda- tion for approval of the rezoning; and ~tEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 23, 1982; and WIIEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 9.8 acre site consisting of two parcels located at the northwest corner of Paseo Santa Cruz and Valley Avenue from the ~.~-15 (l~lti-family Residential) District to the R-1-6400 (Single-family Residential) District. Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #251, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" dated March 23, 1982, and incorporated herein by reference.
