CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />la G;la ~ L,I,JTI D N NI~, <br /> <br />!:~SO L~ZF~D: <br /> <br /> 1) The City desires to create building sites and driveways <br />in the hillside areas of the city with minim~l cuts and fi]is. <br /> <br /> 2) In carrying out the letter and intent of interi~.l P.oning <br />ordinances and the new Ordinance No. 309, effective July 1, 1960, <br />the City shall apply the following standards for hillside land: <br /> <br /> a} The minim~s~ total lot area shall be incr~ase~ by <br /> 200 square feet~ and each lot width shall be inc~assd <br /> two feet, for each 1~ o£ slope in e~.~cess of t0~ .~!easured <br /> 90° to the contour. <br /> b) ~?,~here slo~oes~ are i~ e~ce,.' =°~.~ of 25~, each indi¥iducd <br /> lot shall be inspected by the City Engineer to deter}~line <br /> whether or not a~ building site ones e5~.isto <br /> <br /> 3) The council and planning commission shall encourai~e sourid <br />grading practices rather than use these hillside standards to <br />decrease densities of dwelling unit~ per acre.
