CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> 8004 <br />FtI:'SOLUTION NO .... <br /> <br />RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> l) The City Administrator and the Chief of Police shall <br />provide necessary police for special events held at the Alameda <br />County Fair Grounds and elsewhere within the city limits by using <br />the regular and the reserve force of policemen. <br /> <br /> 2) Promoters or sponsors of special events shall pay the <br />city in advance the sum of $2.50 per hour per man for necessary <br />police required by their event. <br /> <br /> 3) Said monies shall become a part of the general fund <br />of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> 4) Reserve officers working for such special events shall <br />be paid at the rate provided by salary Resolution No. 2694, <br />adopted ~ovember 18, 1957, as amended. <br /> <br /> 5) The City Clerk shall pay reserve officers upon a claim <br />being filed each month for work performed pursuant to this <br />resolution. <br /> <br /> 6) The City Clerk shall further pay from said general <br />fund any and all expenses for maximum State Compensation Insurance <br />Fund coverage, to allow said reserve officers to obtain the full <br />workmen's compensation benefits, when not covered by the civil <br />defense provisions of the Labor Code of the State of Californi~ <br /> <br />ADOPTED: April ll, 1960. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
