CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />AW~J)ING CON_~.CT FOR SEWAGE <br />TREAT~NT PLANT ADDITIONS <br /> <br /> ~?~IERE~S, Invitation to Bid has been duly notice~,and bids <br />received by the City Council on February 29, 1960; and <br /> <br /> ~EAS, the firm of C. NORMAN PETERSON, INC., 2830 Ninth <br />Street, Berkeley, California, is the low bidder; and <br /> <br /> W~F~KAS, the United States Government, acting through <br /> <br />E. H. THOUREN, Regional Construction Program, Director, Water <br />Supply and Pollution Control, Department of Health, Education and <br />Welfare, has approved said bid and authorized an award of contract <br />to said firm; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby award to C. NOR~L~N <br />PETERSON, INC., the contract for construction of sewage treatment <br />plant additions at Pleasanton, California, for the sum of <br />$189,900.00. <br /> <br /> 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized to <br />execute said contract in behalf of the City of Pleasanton, upon <br />the contractor having executed same and having posted the necessar <br />bonds and insurance certificates. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED: March 7, 1960. <br /> <br />~Iay or' <br /> <br /> <br />
