CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUN'fy OF ALAMEDA <br /> $'IATE OF CALIFOHN~A <br /> <br />RIE~;DLLITIO N NO._ <br /> <br /> WHERF~; The Planning Commission and the City Council have <br /> reviewed their policy for ultimate development for the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby affirm the present policy <br /> for planning for the City of Pleasanton, and does designate the <br /> "Pleasanton Planning Area" as follows: <br /> <br /> Highway U.S. 50 on the north, <br /> Isabelle Avenue on the east~, <br /> Vallecitos Road on the south; and the <br /> Ridge of the hills west of Foothill Road on the west. <br /> <br /> 2. The City staff is hereby instructed to investigate <br />possible annexations along Bernal Avenue, Foothill Road, Hopyard <br />Road and Santa Rita Road to include industrial area proposed to be <br />developed by the Southern-Pacific Company south of Highway 50. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED: Narch 7, 1960. <br /> <br />~ayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
