IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOL~£ION NO. 2986 <br /> <br />URGING CONSTRUCTION OF FLOOD CONTROLAND WATER CONSERI~TION PROJECT, ALAMEDA <br />CREEK, ALkMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The City of Pleasanton is vitally interested in water conservation <br />and flood control on the Arreyo del Valle, as it affects eastern and southern <br />Alameda County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The United States Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District, <br />has completed its "Alameda Creek Flood Control Survey"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The City Council of the City of Pleasanton has considered said <br />report; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFOP~ BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council does approve the report of the United States Army <br />Corps of Engineers entitled "A~ameda Creek Flood Control Survey". <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council urges early construction of the Arroyo del Valle <br />Reservoir Project. <br /> <br /> 3.
