CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1092 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY BINGO ORDINANCE TO CLARIFY INTERPRETATION AND BRING SAID ORDINANCE INTO CONFORMITY WITH CHANGES IN PENAL CODE SECTION 326.5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Section 4-2.1810(c) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "(c) An eligible organization shall conduct bingo games only on property owned or leased by it or property whose use is donated to the organi- zation and which property is used by such orgnization for an office or for performance of purposes for which the organization is organized. In the case of property not continuously used by the authorized organization, the property shall be considered as used for the purposes for which the organization is organized if the authorized organization is conducting a scheduled event for organizational purposes on the premises and the Police Chief makes a determination that the proposed bingo game is merely incidental to the scheduled event." Section 2: Section 4-2.1810(e) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code is amended by adding the following sentence at the end: "This subdivision does not preclude the employment of security personnel who are not members of the authorized organization at such bingo game by the organization conducting the game." Section 3: Section 4-2.1811(b)(2) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "(2) A portion of such proceeds not to exceed 20% of the proceeds after the deduction for prizes, or One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) Der month, whichever is less, may be used for rental of property, overhead, administrative expenses, security equipment and security personnel."
