IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> 220 <br />RESOLUTION No. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CONCERNING ANNEX No. 17, STANLEY <br />BOULEVARD ANNEX '~" DECLARING THE CITY COUNCIL'S <br />INTENT TO CALL A SPECIAL ANNEXATION ELECTION, <br />AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR PROTESTS BY <br />PROPERTY OWNERS. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton: <br /> <br /> 1. It is the intent of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton to call a special election to be held on a date to <br />be fixed in the future pursuant to Section 35122 of the Government <br />Code of the State of California, in certain inhabited territory <br />contiguous to the City and proposed to be annexed thereto. <br /> <br /> 2. The purpose of said election shall be to submit to the <br />qualified electors residing in the territory the question whether <br />or not said territory shall be annexed to the City of Pleasanton <br />and the property in the territory subjected to taxation after <br />annexation equally with property within the City of Pleasanton <br />to pay the bonded indebtedness of the City outstanding or author- <br />ized on July 23, 1962, for acquiring, constructing or completing <br />municipal improvements. <br /> <br />3. Said property is designated as ~'ANNEX NO. 17, STANLEY <br />BOULEVARD ANNEX A", being all that real property in the Township <br /> <br /> Alameda County, California, further described as <br /> <br />of Pleasanton, <br />follows: <br /> <br />See EXHIBIT '~" attached <br />hereto and made a part <br /> hereof. <br /> <br /> <br />
