Due to weather and shortage in <br /> materials, the corrective work was postponed until June 2011. This project is now <br /> complete and ready for City Council Acceptance. <br /> Contract change orders in the amount of $9,481.50 were the result of adding 20,000 <br /> square feet of slurry seal of the existing bridge deck crossing Tassajara Creek (on <br /> Stoneridge Drive between Santa Rita Road and W. Las Positas Boulevard). The total <br /> cost of the project including the original award amount and the change order is <br /> $227,035. <br /> Funding for the projected was provided by the 2008-09 and 2009-10 fiscal year CIP <br /> budgets in the amount of $500,000 (combined). Another $93,819 from the balance <br /> remaining in the 2007-2008 fiscal year slurry seal project was transferred into project <br /> budget, creating total available funding of $593,819. This funding includes Gas Tax, <br /> General Fund, and Measure B monies. <br /> This project is a combination of streets programmed under two CIP projects, 085004 <br /> and 095004. These two projects were reevaluated and combined as one project. <br /> Stoneridge Drive between Santa Rita Road and Trevor Parkway was originally <br /> programmed for slurry seal under CIP No. 085004, but was removed from the subject <br /> project due to consideration of the installation of open-graded asphalt concrete <br /> pavement as part of the Staples Ranch Development requirement. This roadway <br /> section contains approximately 85% of the contract work originally programmed under <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />
