CiTY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ND. <br /> <br />EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE SERVICES <br /> OF CHRIS HANIFEN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, CHRIS HANIFEN has resigned as Planning Commissioner <br /> for the City of Pteasanton; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said CHRIS HANIFEN was appointed as one of the <br /> first Planning Commissioners, having served in that capacity <br /> since Fmy 5, 1955 , both as Comm~ sioner and Chairman of the <br /> Planning Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton desires <br /> to record the appreciation of this legislative body personally <br /> and of the citizens of Pleasanton publicly; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council does hereby express its thanks for <br /> <br />the devoted services rendered the City of Pleasanton by <br />CHRIS HANIFEN from May 8, 1955 to May 9, 1961 as a Planning <br />Commissioner. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Council does accept with sincere regret the <br />resignation of CHRIS HANIFEN and does express to said CHRIS <br />HANIFEN their heartfelt wishes for happiness in his well-earned <br />retirement from this civic position. <br /> <br /> DATED: July 17, 1961. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />WARREN R.
