CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> 3188 <br />[~ESOLUTION NO <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING FILING WITH BOUNDARY <br />COMMISSION OF ALAMEDA COUNTY, MAP <br />AND LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR PROPOSED <br /> ANNEX NO. 18 <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Planning Co~nission of the City of Pleasanton has <br />urged and approved annexations north of the City of Pleasanton, <br />expanding the boundary to Highway U.S. 50; and <br /> <br /> Whsreas, certain property owners southeasterly of the intersectiol <br />of~ U.S. 50 and State Highway 21 have requested that <br />annexation proceedings be started by the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1) <br /> Proposed Annex No. 18 as set out in Map dated May 22, 1961 <br />on file with the City Engineer, and as further described below, is <br />hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Engineer is hereby authorized to file map and <br />legal description with the Alameda County Boundary Comission <br />mot later than June 1, 1961. <br /> <br /> 3) The City staff is hereby directed to obtain consent of <br />IOBERT WING, in so far as it is necessary to comply with Section <br />35008 of the Government Code of the State of California. <br /> <br /> 4) Said proposed Annexation No. <br />~ownship, Alameda County, California, <br />as follows: <br /> <br />18 is located in Pleasanton <br />and is generally described <br /> <br />A strip of land over 200 feet wide commencing <br />at the northerly city boundary westerly of <br />Hopyard Road, continuing northerly to the <br />Mocho Canal, hence westerly to the westerly <br />side of the Alamo Canal hence northerly, <br />(ihcluding the entire parcels of lands of <br />petitioning parties) to Highway US 50, hence <br />a strip over 200 feet wide easterly along the <br />southern right of way line of Highway US 50 to <br />Hopyard Road. <br /> <br />DATED: May 22~ 1961. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />WARREN R.
