FEHR 1' PEERS
PROJECT DELIVERY AND FEE ESTIMATES
The schedule and fee for successful completion of a project varies by the number of study intersections,
the number of analysis scenarios, the level of analysis required (i.e. Synchro HCM based calculations or
micro-simulation) and the intended final use of a document such as a negative declaration, mitigated
negative declaration, or an Environmental Impact Report.
As requested, we have provided a preliminary schedule and fee estimate for completion of a standalone
transportation impact study for ten intersections and a transportation impact study for inclusion in an
Environmental Impact Report with up to 25 study intersections. As schedule can be dictated by receipt of
information from third parties, we have also included our proposed schedule of deliverables based on
receipt of information from the City or other parties. The fee estimate includes two meetings for a
standalone study and four meetings for a larger project. Site plan review, parking evaluation, and CMA
analysis would be included in both study types.
Anticipated Standalone Study Environmental
Task/Submittal SubmittaUDependencies (10 intersections) Impact Report
95 Intersections)
Technical memorandum Receipt of a fully executed
summarizing project trip contract, final project description,
generation and and select zone analysis for each Two weeks Two weeks
distribution assumptions land use proposed within the site
for City review and for the project.
approval -
Technical memorandum Receipt of City approval of the
summarizing traffic previous technical memorandums,
forecasts for City review and final link-and intersection- Three to four weeks Six weeks
and approval level forecasts(.dbf turns file and
loaded network plots).
Draft Transportation Receipt of City approval of the
Study technical memorandum Two to three weeks Four weeks
summarizing the traffic forecasts.
Final Transportation Receipt of comments on the Draft
Study Transportation Study, provided no One week Two weeks
additional analysis is requested.
Responses to Comments Receipt of the applicable
on EIR comments(assuming qualitative N/A Two weeks
transportation related comments)
Time Range Eight to Ten Weeks Fourteen weeks
Estimated Fee Range $10,000 to S25,000 550,000 to S90,000
11
