ATTACHMENT I <br /> CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> FOR: On Call Transportation Consulting Services <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of <br /> 2011, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"), <br /> and Fehr and Peers Associates, whose address is 100 Pringle Avenue, Suite 600 Walnut <br /> Creek, CA 94596, and telephone number is 925-930-7100 ("Consultant"). <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in providing, <br /> transportation consulting services and has offered its services for the purposes specified <br /> in this Agreement. <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and advisable to employ the <br /> services of Consultant for the purposes provided herein. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, agreements and <br /> conditions contained herein, City and Consultant agree as follows: <br /> 1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently perform the services <br /> and furnish the materials, reports, drawings, and related materials as hereinafter set forth: <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in the Scope of Work <br /> which will be submitted prior to authorization to proceed on <br /> individual projects. <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of the City, other <br /> pertinent agencies, and/or landowners as necessary to complete the <br /> scope of work outlined in Section 1 (a) above. <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in this work, City shall <br /> provide, if necessary, title reports, any existing plans of the area on file, necessary <br /> direction and plan checking within a reasonable time. <br /> 3. Staff. The Project Manager for Consultant shall be Robert Rees, who may <br /> not be replaced without written consent of City. <br /> 4. Sufficiency of Consultant's Work. All reports, drawings, plans and <br /> specifications prepared for City shall be adequate and sufficient to meet the purposes for <br /> which they are prepared. <br /> 5. Ownership of Work. All reports, drawings, plans and specifications, <br /> maps, designs, work data, and all other documents completed or partially completed by <br /> Consultant in the performance of this Agreement shall become the property of City. <br />
