3) An Operator shall submit a mark-up rate (percentage of the cost to the Operator) <br /> for rental equipment and specialized labor not otherwise listed on the application <br /> (CHP 234A). <br /> 4) If an Operator performs a service for which a required rate was not submitted and <br /> approved by the PPD,the Operator shall only be entitled to charge for the actual <br /> cost of that service plus 10 percent. <br /> 0. Storage Fees <br /> 1) An Operator shall submit proposed fees for inside and outside storage to the PPD. <br /> Based upon the average for the proposed fees submitted by those applying for <br /> rotation, the Special Operations Commander shall determine the validity and <br /> reasonableness of the fees for inside and outside storage. <br /> 2) An Operator shall display in plain view at all cashier stations a sign, as required by <br /> CC § 3070(d)(2)(F), disclosing all storage fees and charges in force, including the <br /> maximum storage rate. <br /> 3) No fee shall be charged for the release of personal property during normal business <br /> hours pursuant to CVC§22851(b). <br /> a) The maximum charge for a non-business hours release shall be one-half the <br /> hourly tow rate charged, or less, for initially towing the vehicle pursuant to CVC <br /> §22851(b). <br /> b) No lien shall attach to any personal property in or on the vehicle pursuant to <br /> CVC §22851(b). <br /> 4) Vehicles stored 2.4 hours or less shall be charged no more than one day storage <br /> pursuant to CC§3068.1(a). <br /> a) If the vehicle is released from storage after 24 hours has lapsed, charges may be <br /> allowed on a full, calendar day basis for each day of storage, or part thereof <br /> pursuant to CC §3068.1(a). <br /> 5) Storage of vehicles in combination may be charged a per vehicle rate except for <br /> dollies, con-gear, vehicle on a car carrier/trailer, etc. <br /> a) Dollies and con-gear may be charged a storage rate not to exceed Class A <br /> storage fees. <br /> 6) Inside storage fees shall only be charged when inside storage is requested by the <br /> PPD, registered owner, legal owner, insurance company or when the inside storage <br /> can be justified by the Operator. <br /> 2011-2013 TSA Page 21 of 30 <br />
