CITY OF PLEASANt O~q <br />COUNTY OF ALAMED,~ <br />STATE OF CALiFORNiA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />~293 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING A BUILDING EVALUATION <br />SCHEDULE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORDINANCE NO. <br />OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON. <br /> <br />344 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 2, 1962, Ordinance No. 344 was passed <br />and adopted by the City Coundil; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. <br />BUILDING CODE, 1961 EDITION, <br />BUILDING OFFICIALS; and <br /> <br />344 adopts by reference the UNIFORM <br />of the INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, building permit fees as established by Resolution <br />No. are based upon an evaluation of the building or <br />structure; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is desirable to establish a uniform formula to <br />determine the value of buildings and structures; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 344 provides for the adoption of <br />an evaluation schedule by resolution of the City Council; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following schedule <br />shall be employed in order to establish the value per square foot <br />of buildings and structures for building permit purposes: <br /> <br />1. DWELLINGS <br /> <br />a. MASONRY $11.00 <br />b. WOOD FRAME 10.00 <br /> <br />2. DWELLINGS, SECOND STORY <br /> <br />a. MASONRY 8.00 <br />b. WOOD FRAME 7.00 <br /> <br />3. ACCESSORY BUILDINGS, ATTACHED <br /> <br />a. MASONRY 4.00 <br />b. WOOD FRAME 3 . 00 <br /> <br />4. ACCESSORY BUILDINGS, DETACHED <br /> <br />a. MASONRY 5.00 <br />b. WOOD FRAME 4.00 <br /> <br />COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS-- <br />The rate established for appropriate <br />Group and Type, as published in the <br />issue of the 'building Standards Monthly" <br />current on the date of the application, and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all plans for commercial, in- <br />dustrial and multi-story buildings, retaining walls, and other <br />buildings and structures, which in the opinion of the Building <br />Official require it, shall be checked by a registered civil <br />engineer and the fee for such plan checking shall be one-half the <br />building pemit fee, and <br /> <br />- 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
