CITY OF PLEASANt O~q COUNTY OF ALAMED,~ STATE OF CALiFORNiA RESOLUTION NO. ~293 RESOLUTION ADOPTING A BUILDING EVALUATION SCHEDULE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORDINANCE NO. OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON. 344 WHEREAS, on April 2, 1962, Ordinance No. 344 was passed and adopted by the City Coundil; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BUILDING CODE, 1961 EDITION, BUILDING OFFICIALS; and 344 adopts by reference the UNIFORM of the INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF WHEREAS, building permit fees as established by Resolution No. are based upon an evaluation of the building or structure; and WHEREAS, it is desirable to establish a uniform formula to determine the value of buildings and structures; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 344 provides for the adoption of an evaluation schedule by resolution of the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following schedule shall be employed in order to establish the value per square foot of buildings and structures for building permit purposes: 1. DWELLINGS a. MASONRY $11.00 b. WOOD FRAME 10.00 2. DWELLINGS, SECOND STORY a. MASONRY 8.00 b. WOOD FRAME 7.00 3. ACCESSORY BUILDINGS, ATTACHED a. MASONRY 4.00 b. WOOD FRAME 3 . 00 4. ACCESSORY BUILDINGS, DETACHED a. MASONRY 5.00 b. WOOD FRAME 4.00 COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS-- The rate established for appropriate Group and Type, as published in the issue of the 'building Standards Monthly" current on the date of the application, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all plans for commercial, in- dustrial and multi-story buildings, retaining walls, and other buildings and structures, which in the opinion of the Building Official require it, shall be checked by a registered civil engineer and the fee for such plan checking shall be one-half the building pemit fee, and - 1 -
