CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1081 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 4728 SQ. FT OF LAND LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF PETERS AND BERNAL AVENUES FROM THE "0" (OFFICE) DISTRICT TO THE "C-C" (CENTRAL COMmeRCIAL) DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton applied to have an approximately 4728 sq. ft. parcel of land located at the northeast corner of Peters and Bernal Avenues rezoned from the "0" (Office) District to the "C-C" (Central Commercial) District; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment a negative declaration was adopted by Council on April 12, 1983; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning CoFmission's recorfm~enda- tion for approval of the rezoning; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on April 12, 1983; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 4728 sq. ft. parcel of land located at the northeast corner of Peters and Bernal Avenues from the "0" (Office) District to the "C-C" (Central Commercial) District. Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #272, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" dated April 12, 1982, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66.
