9. 10 . 82 C169-018 ( 3883 2� to this article, the Applicant shall as soon as practi- cable satisfy all conditions of approval and diligently proceed with the commencement and completion of all approved work. In all cases, work shall commence no later than one (1 ) year from the date of such approval. If work is not commenced within said one (1 ) year period, the approval given pursuant to this article shall be deemed revoked unless the Architectural Review Board, pursuant to a request by Applicant made in writing prior to the expiration of said one (1 ) year period, extends in writing the time for commencing work. In all cases , work - shall be completed in accor- dance with the Preliminary Plans and the Final Plans not later than. two (2 ) years from the date of issuance by the City of Pleasanton of the first (or only) build- ing permit for such work, unless completion is pre- vented within said two (2 ) year period due to strike, fire, national emergency, natural disaster, or other supervening force beyond the control of Applicant, in which case the time for completion shall be extended by the delay caused by the foregoing events. The Architec- tural Review Board may, upon written request received prior to the expiration of said two (2 ) year period, extend the period of time within which work must be completed. 2 . 7.2 Construction, including grading and striping, shall be done only on weekdays between the -15-
