After consideration of all potential names, the Parks and Recreation Commission <br /> recommended that the City Council approve "Stoneridge Creek Park" as the permanent <br /> name for the neighborhood park. A large part of the Commission's choice was <br /> predicated on the fact that Stoneridge Creek Way is the approved name of the new <br /> street which borders the park on its western edge, and "Stoneridge Creek" is also the <br /> name of the new 750-unit continuing care retirement community being developed by <br /> Continuing Life Communities.
