ATTACHMENT 1 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AUTHORIZING FINANCIAL AND LEGAL COMMITMENT ASSOCIATED WITH RECEIPT OF FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM FUNDING OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT NO. R11AF20020 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton (the City) is the legal authority authorized to enter the City into agreement with the Bureau of Reclamation; and WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed and supports the City of Pleasanton's application for Funding Opportunity Announcement No. R11AF20020 for Feasibility Studies for Federal Title XVI Water Reclamation and Reuse Authority Projects; and WHEREAS, the City commits to provide the amount of funding specified in the funding plan; and WHEREAS, the City will work with the Bureau of Reclamation to meet established deadlines for entering into a cooperative agreement, if one is awarded. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. As specified by the City's funding plan submitted to the Bureau of Reclamation for Funding Opportunity Announcement No. R11AF20020, adoption is hereby authorized, providing the City's commitment to the financial and legal obligations associated with receipt of Federal financial assistance. SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on August 16, 2011.
