TION ?ROCggDINGS INITIATED BY COUNCIL, AND GIVING NCTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION DESIGNATED: ~NNEXATION NO. 22~ PLEASANTON-SUNOL ANNEX B'~ The City Council in the City of Pleasanton does hereby RESOLVE as follows: 1. These proceedings are initiated by the Council of the City of Pleasanton to annex to the City of Pleasanton all that uninhabited territory described below. The council acts on its own motion, pursuant to the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, (Sections 35300 et seq. of the Government Code) as amended. 2. The City Council does hereby desire to annex said uninhabited territory for the following reasons: Said territory is contiguous to the City, and one of a series of annexations necessary in expanding the City boundaries to the south. The area can be served by city sewer and water, and is the next logical step in the city's growth. 3. Said uninhabited territory is situated in the Township of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, and is further designated and described as follows: SEE EXHIBIT '%'~', ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF. 4. The Boundary Commission of Alameda County, California, approved the above described and proposed boundaries of said territory, as follows: Report and Recommendation No. 750 dated December 13, 1962. 5. The time and place is hereby fixed when and where any person owning real property within the uninhabited territory described above and proposed to be annexed to the City of Pleasanton, and having any objections thereto, may appear before the Council and show cause why such annexation should not ta~e place, to wit:
